About Me:: I served 4yrs in the USAF as a Security Policeman, worked security when I got out of the military then worked construction for several years now I'm back in the security field since 2004 working at a decommissioned Nuclear atomic power plant. I also have my own side business (power washing houses, decks, boats..you name it!!) hope to make it a big business some day!!..My Father and Brother are both retired LEO's.. I was just chosen for the Energy and Government Services Business Unit Officer of the Year for 2007. Final selection was made from nominees from all of the Energy and Government facilities served by Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. throughout the United States.

I went to the two links you suggested and sent out requests up the wazoo! A couple active A.F.sergeants responded and it was negative. But I have put up a profile and have made it clear that I am trying to locate two brothers in the Conn. area that I served with in Italy in 66-68. I thank you for your assistance. These guys would be like 60-63 now and it seems that the name is a popular name in Conn. God willing they will find out about my inquiries and get to me. Thanks again for your suggestions----------and thank you for your service to me and mine!

Jim, I was in the 6917th Security Group in Italy from 66-68. When I volunteered for Vietnam, I was turned down because my brother was a Marine in DeNang at the time and they wouldn't put us together in a war zone. I came back State side and picked up my 4th stripe in 3 years. Then I got a 9 month early out from NSA and became a Baltimore City Officer in 1969. Then I was V.P. of the police union and we went on strike in 1974. I was due to get my Sgt's stripes in Dec. 74 but got terminated in October for union activities. In 1990 I tried to volunteer for the big sand box and got turned down. I gotta be the only hump in the Air Force to get turned down twice for two different wars!!!!!!! Now I am the lead investigator for the Civilian Review Board in Baltimore after puting in 20 years in the prosecutor's office handing all felony sex crimes in Baltimore. I have over 37 years investigative experience now. You would think I had seen and heard it all--------nope new stuff all the time. I would like to contact some of the guys from the 6917th Security Group----have any ideas?
