Howdy, I’m Rex I have been in law enforcement for most of my adult life. I have seen the glories and the horrors of this profession. The one thing that gets me the most is the total disregard for Emergency Vehicles responding to calls. I have lost many friends in needless traffic crashes while they were responded to calls. I have had many of my colleagues not return to duty for lack of medical clearance. Career ending traffic crash one of the worst exit points in law enforcement. With all this in mind I have invented the BOLO 911, It lets people know that we are coming. The BOLO 911 is a little device that civilians place on their dash boards and when Police or Fire activate their emergency equipment, the sending unit in the emergency vehicle sends out a radio wave that is received by the civilian vehicle. This warns all drivers that an emergency vehicle is approaching their vicinity and they need to look for a safe place to pull over and give up the right of way. Let’s face it the light and siren are just not good enough on this day and age with cell phones, i-pods, oversexed car speakers and sound proof windows we don’t have much of a chance. The BOLO 911 puts the warning inside the car assuring our demand for the right of way.
