About Me:
Hi- My name is Mike, and I am a Prosecutor in north/central Minnesota. I spent 8 years as a Public Defender in St. Paul, before I got really sick of defending guilty people. I left the Public Defender’s Office and moved to Colorado in 2002. I graduated from the Red Rocks Law Enforcement Training Academy and went to work as a Police Officer in Loveland. The transition was tough (I was 39), and even tougher on my family. I wasn’t continued after FTO, but have no hard feelings. I have all the respect in the world for the Officers I worked with in Loveland. I moved back to MN in 2004. I still miss being on the streets, but prosecuting is the next best thing. I have a great relationship with the LEO’s here, and we have put a lot bad guys in prison. I’d like to hear from anyone, and would like to talk about how to improve the relationship between cops and prosecutors. It would be great to hear from old friends in Colorado.

    Yeah, Portland is an interesting town. There are some really cool things here and there are some, well, let's say, "different" things here as well. I like the Pacific Northwest. It's beautiful country. But there's a reason they call Portland "Berkley of the North"... lol.
