About Me:: Well I was in the US Air Force for 6 years as a Security Police and stationed at Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City South Dakota. While there I worked in the missile fields and was assigned to the 44th Missile Security Squadron. For a short time I had a Temporary Duty Assignment on base as an Alert Force Controller and worked with the B-52 crews at the Bomber Alert Facility. Shortly after being Honorably Discharged I went to work with the Dothan Airport Police Department in Dothan Alabama. I went through the Soutwest Alabama Police Academy classes being held at Troy State University in Dothan Alabama. I worked at the Dothan Airport for 6 1/2 years. My Father began to having some health problems and I was also beginning to get a little "burned-out" on Security/Law Enforcement after 12 1/2 years so I decided to make a change in my life and moved closer to where my Parents were to help him out on his farm. Luckily my Father's health improved and I wound up working in the world of retail. After a few job changes in retail work I finally got married to a wonderful wife. Now we have two wonderful sons and we currently live in the Anniston/Oxford Alabama area. I've been an Amateur Radio operator, or Ham, for several years now and I'm actively involved with both my local ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) and RACES (Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Service) groups. So in my own little way I'm once again serving and protecting my community.
