About Me:: I have a wonderful wife and 4 great kids (3 boys 13, 4, 3 and 1 girl 10). I moved to Georgia from Las Vegas, NV in May of 2006 to become a Deputy Sheriff (and my wife is from Georgia as well). The last thing I wanted was to work with kids. God works in mysterious ways, because in June of 2006, I ended up getting hired with the State of Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice as a Juvenile Correctional Officer. March 2007, I became a Sergeant and absolutely love (must be crazy) working with juvenile offenders. It is totally different than working in adult prisons, need more patience and compassion in this industry. A real eye opener for me as my career grows. Before that I worked in Federal Community Corrections (Contracted) with a private company. I also worked private security where I obtained the position of General Manager several times. I spent 4.5 years in the car business. That was fun, lot of stress and politics. Hey, just like Law Enforcement. Maybe why I stay in it. The career I enjoyed the most was the US Marine Corps where I spent 10 years. Unfortunately, couldn't retire because of cutbacks after Desert Storm. Well, that pretty much raps up the last 25 years of my life.
