Police Subdue Naked Hostage Taker

SANTA BARBARA, CA – Police used a stun gun to subdue a naked man inside a Santa Barbara home where he was allegedly holding two people hostage at knifepoint.

Phillip Kenneth Matovich is in jail where he has been booked for investigation of attempted murder, burglary, kidnapping, hostage taking, false imprisonment, making terrorist threats and brandishing a knife.

Police say the 26-year-old man broke into two homes. Sgt. Lorenzo Duarte says Matovich was arrested Saturday night inside the second home where he was holding a woman and her boyfriend hostage.

Investigators say Matovich had earlier broken into an apartment and struggled with a couple before fleeing.

Well, can't say this is a first by any means. Sigh. At least you have tasers to deal with this nutcases now. Before we had to jump him and wrestle the naked guy which was really a not fun thing to do. I never like wrestling with naked women either as they were usually pretty nasty themselves.
