Out of all the handguns my husband and I own this is probably my favorite. It’s very easy to handle, grip, and use especially for a woman. Very Accurate, never had a problem with it and we probably have put about 900 rounds threw it. =>

Of all the .45s fired, this is my favorite. Smooth, accurate and reliable.

I love this weapon, right from the box I have never fired a more acurate weapon. I have added the magwell and bowed backstrap along with extended slide release and nice wood grips as you can see in the gun porn section.

The most accurate and reliable gun I have ever owned. When I was chosen to attend SWAT school, I needed a gun that would increase my shooting profiencey. This gun did just that. The only thing I had to add to it was an ambidextrious safety due to me being left handed. The whole midnight shift carries 45 .ACP's and four out of six of us carry Kimbers!!!!

I actually have the Kimber Warrior .45 1911. It comes with ambi dexterous safety standard from the manufacture. I am left handed and an ambi dexterous safety is a must. The warrior also comes with a light rail manufactured as part of the lower receiver, so there is no need to modify a rail onto the gun. I have the Streamlight TLR-II as a weapon light, which is very reliable. This weapon is far superior than the Glock 21 I used to carry on duty and for SWAT as a secondary weapon. The round capacity is less than the Glock, but I have found the accuracy of this weapon makes up for it. I can easily take a head shot from fifteen yards while point shooting with this weapon. I can't say that with the Glock.

Had the the 1st series not impressed now have the TLE II. Wouldn't trade it for nothing! Accurate reliable. If you have the internal extractor learn how to take it out and clean it. I didn't and caused malfunctions when I ran it dry that nearly qualified as a jam (empty cases where being shoved back into the mag). The internal extractor is a spring fail to clean causes lose of srping tension. Kimber fixed it and only cost me the shipping there. No whinning, crying or complaining on their part, they just fixed it. I have over 3000 rds through it in 3 yrs.

I carry the Kimber TLE RLII w/ night sights and a X200 light as a duty weapon and would not trade it for all the Glocks in Austria. It is by far the most accurate 1911 variant that I have owned. Yes, it is a bit pricey, but how high a price do I put on my survival? The TLE has an excellent trigger, is absolutely accurate and digests the Winchester Ranger SXT 230gr. HPs without a hiccup. I was initially wary of the external extractor, but have had no failures to eject.

I don't mean to offend the Glock crowd, in fact I often carry a Glock 32 in .357 concealed, but as a duty weapon, I prefer the Kimber TLE RLII

I fell in love with the Beretta 92F for sentimental reasons. But for professional reasons, this is the most durable, reliable weapon i've had the privaliage of shooting. Balanced, powerfull, and accurate. This is no head-banger folks...this is the real McCoy. Stop em dead.

I traded up from a Sig P220 for this pistol in all blues finish with night sights. I managed to fet it for only $799. It is a far better pistol. I put a Hogue rubber grip on instead of the rosewood for better control. I bought it used and the sights needed adjusted, but even then, the groups were super tight. The very thin single stack frame makes it easy to conceal even in the summer with an IWB holster. I bought a couple Wilson Combat mags to go with it, which I also would highly recomend.

I own the Kimber TLE RL II with the blued steel which is the one I own. Very similar to this gun and very accurate. Shoots great with low end brass which is a plus since .45acp is so expensive.

I have owned a TLE II for about 2 years now and I just love it. It is a smooth functioning weapon and I've never had any problems with it. If you are authorized to carry a .45 Colt style weapon, I would recommend spending a few extra dollars and buy a Kimber. You won't be disappointed.

It's good but maintenance is starting to suck. I had my Stainless TLE II for about 2 years and put 3000 rounds through it. There was a break in period where it would fail to feed once in a while. It seemed to clear up after about 1000 rounds. I was shooting mostly Blazer FMJ and Ammo Bros 230gr FMJ bulk ammo. The ejector seemed to work loose so I brought it to a local gunsmith. At the same time, I thought it would a good Idea to put Kimber brand ambi safeties on it. These Kimber factory ambi's he put on broke. Kimber said they would refund me the cost of the safeties after I emailed them a picture of the broken safeties. The gunsmith ending up putting Ed Brown ambi safeties on instead. I got the gun back from the gunsmith, and shot about 100 rounds through it. Afterwards, I noticed the ejector is loose again. Hopefully the smith will fix it again for free. But with the price of the gun, new kimber grips, kimber magwell, and, kimber and ed brown safeties, plus the cost of the smith work, it's probably cost over $2000.
