Posted 5 months ago I have subscribed to the caringbridge website where Lori Surles the wife of Officer Greg Surles is keeping a running log of his progress from his head injuries. The latest this morning is not all that good. All she said was prayers needed more than ever. It sounds like either she got some bad news or that she is seeing something that really has caused her to doubt her prayers that he recover. I am asking that you all say a prayer for our brother and wish him and his wife the very best. | Posted 5 months ago I had earlier received a PM from psycho393 as a Christian Cops & Supporters member in regards to Officer Greg Surles of the Pell City Police Department but unfortunately I inadvertently deleted it. However I do remember that PM mentioning something about a possibility of a stroke. If I'm in error in my remembering please forgive me for this error. Whatever the issue with Officer Greg Surles, he and his family, his friends and coworkers will remain in all of our thoughts and prayers. |

| Posted 5 months ago According to Caringbridge.com, Greg passed away at 9:50 this morning. I know that we all share in this loss of a LEO brother. Our best wishes and God's comfort are with the family and friends. All that is necessary for evil to succeed is that good men do nothing.
